About Lauren Brooks

Lauren earned her first personal training certification from the ISSA which sparked an interest to continue her education. Soon after, she earned a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness, Nutrition, and Health from San Diego State University in 2002. She went on to become kettlebell certified under Pavel Tstasouline in 2005 and since was ranked as a SFG Senior, ACE Fitness Trainer, Clinical Nutritionist, Functional Movement Specialist, Barbell Lifting Coach, TRX and Battling Ropes.

Lauren Brooks is the owner of On The Edge Fitness and founder of Lauren’s Playground, an online workout community. She is the creator of the highly acclaimed three-volume DVD series, "The Ultimate Body Sculpt and Conditioning with Kettlebells,” as well as titles such as Shut Up and Train, Kettlebell Incinerator, Kettlebell Revelation, Lightning and many more. She is also the proud creator of the very first pregnancy kettlebell DVD "Baby Bells” which helped popularize smart training for fit pregnant women.

Lauren is also sought out worldwide for her expertise. Her online programs and live workshops emphasize holistic fitness. Lauren is a proud mother of 4 children. Drawing on her own experience and research, she inspires others to stay fit after pregnancy and even after Cesareans.
