About The Course

This course, designed for personal trainers and allied-health professionals, builds a solid scientific foundation about interval training methods. Topics are grouped into three sections: interval training origins and practices, important interval training variables and their effects, and practical guidelines for designing an interval training prescription for the beginner to serious athlete. Emphasis is on how to design an "ideal" program that considers age, gender, prior and current exercise and training status, and goals. A must-have course to master the latest advancements about interval training for success.

"Interval training" has become one of those phrases that has taken on a life of its own in the fitness and training industry, along with others like "fat burning" and "heart rate training."
