About the Course
Childhood obesity is a growing epidemic and is a national concern with lasting effects on health and well-being. Over the past 30 years, research shows that childhood obesity has doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents. This course will discuss the definition of childhood obesity, poor diets, lack of exercise and socioeconomic disparities. Understanding childhood obesity as a personal trainer can help you prevent it in your youth clients.
