ISSA Now Posting Fitness Job Openings in Online Members Section

The International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) recently launched a Job Openings list in its online Member’s Section. Submission of job openings by gym owners and managers is free and job postings are viewable by ISSA members only.

Carpinteria, CA – October 31, 2006 – In keeping with its commitment to providing comprehensive educational and business support for its members, the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) recently launched a Job Openings list in its online Member’s Section. Through this site (www.issatrainer.com) ISSA members have access to such resources as study materials and practice quizzes, the Article of the Day, the Exercise of the Day, the ISSA Question Board, an archive of fitness articles, information on purchasing personal liability insurance, and a step by step guide on how to make their personal training business successful, among many other things.

Now, gym owners and managers can submit their job openings to the ISSA and immediately inform ISSA members of the positions. “It's free, fast and you may get your job filled quickly by an ISSA certified fitness trainer,” says Sam F. Hirschberg, Director of Business Development for the International Sports Sciences Association. “This is a great service for thousands of facilities nationwide as well as a fantastic resource for ISSA trainers who are looking for positions.” Job postings will appear in our Member's section and be available for viewing by ISSA trainers and students only (http://www.issatrainer.com/support/job_submission/index.cfm).

Upon receiving job submissions from gym owners and managers, the ISSA also sends out complimentary Job Opportunity emails to its currently certified trainers in the area where the fitness facility in question is located.

Simply complete the form and provide a detailed job description in order to help us match the perfect certified ISSA Trainer. The description that is provided by a gym owner or manager in a job submission is also used when sending out Job Opportunity emails on a facility’s behalf.
Approved job openings expire one month after submission. Notice of expiration is given by ISSA via email and/or telephone, at which time a job posting can be reactivated if the fitness director so chooses.
