ISSA Launches New Associate Member Program

Carpinteria, CA – August 8, 2006 – The International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) is pleased to announce its new Associate Member Program. This program has been designed for the fitness-oriented non-professional. theAssociateISSA Associate Members will receive many benefits usually reserved for fitness professionals, including their own newsletter, The Associate, which was just launched this week. This newsletter will discuss all those topics that are relevant to the serious non-professional. As expected, there will be articles on fitness, nutrition, and various ‘hot’ topics. Additionally, there will also be items that address the unique needs of the serious-minded non-professional, including a regular business column on starting up and running your own personal training business and an article that will highlight the questions, hopes, fears, and triumphs of someone who recently made the transition from non-professional to professional. Associate Members will also have the opportunity to send in questions on fitness, nutrition, or business to be answered by one of The Associate’s expert editorial panel.
